After living in Schenectady for 4 years, I finally decided to lay down roots and begin the search for a home.  After an initial encounter looking at a fixer upper I had seen online, I had the fortunate experience to be connected to Jonie Civill, which made all the difference in my home search. Through many months of searching and a couple of contract submissions that never seemed to work out, she found the perfect house and perfect fit for me. Her integrity and honesty during my search always gave me the confidence that she understood my wishes and had my best interests at heart. Her goal was not just to sell a house, but to make sure that I received the best deal and the perfect home for me. This was the second home we purchased with the help of Jonie. Just like our experience with our first/starter home, Jonie was great throughout the process. Jonie is a straight shooter, tells you how it is (i.e. won’t sugarcoat a potential homes flaws), and is extremely knowledgeable about this area and the market. In addition, Jonie is an advocate for her clients. During the negotiations with the seller we were ready to except a counter offer and Jonie advised us to stand firm - we did and she saved us a significant amount of money.
